Develop (Milk) Drinking Habit

I am not a milk drinker.

Don’t get me wrong, but growing up, I was made to believe that milk is for babies. But as I age, I realize the importance of milk and how it can keep my body and mind healthy and strong. Milk is also a rich source of Calcium. And mind you, our body does not produce calcium, so we get it from outside sources.

There are other sources of calcium, like green-leafy vegetables, white beans, sardines, or orange juices. But people like me need at least 1000mg of calcium a day, and since milk is on top of the list as source of calcium, therefore, milk will definitely be on my diet!

To train my taste buds to drink milk regularly, I only have to think of the benefits it can give me. I have to remind myself that every time I drink milk, it will protect me from developing shrinking bones and osteoporosis. It will also help me protect my teeth so I can still show my beautiful smile as I age 🙂
