It’s another month, and another year. I bet everytime you turn that calendar, you know that you have to do something to keep yourself healthy and happy as you age.

Exactly my thoughts as I am to turn half-century old in a few months.

Ten years ago, anxiety and fear of aging were the dominant feelings of those people belonging to my age-range. Now it is more of excitement and high-spirits. Despite the pandemic, we are actually looking forward to the future. Eager to be involved in raising the next-generation of family members and nation-building.

And it is possible, especially these days, when there are plenty of products out there that will help us maintain our heart and health. We have to be discerning, of course. For example, when it comes to adult supplement powders, there are so many choices in the market vying for our attention. We can’t go around changing from one product to another. And we can’t just trust what the endorsers say. As a consumer, I do some fast and fact checking just to make sure whatever I will choose will be the best one for me.

Let’s see, for someone my age, I need 10grams of fiber a day. Then off to the supermarket rack I go and start comparing one brand to the other to verify which among these supplements can fulfill my daily fiber requirement. I also need 20 to 30 grams of protein per meal, so I go comparing this and that products. It will be tedious for the first time, but hey, we are talking about our health here, and we cannot take things for granted especially if it means achieving healthy living.
